GMA Events are back. As we inch ever closer, along Boris's road map to freedom, the GMA's present its brand new monthly event, the 'GMA Filmmakers Network', in partnership with Protein Studios, Film Ahoy and PROM.

It's been an incredibly hard year and it's not over yet. However for the first time, in what seems like a lifetime, we are able to bring you back together to celebrate our beautiful industry, ourselves and being human.

As you may now know, the 2021 Gold Movie Awards® has moved. We will now hold your favourite film festival, this coming August 18th and 19th 2021 at the brand new home of the GMA's in the heart of London's famous west end. For more on that click HERE

The GMA team have worked around the clock, to bring you your favourite festival, (fast becoming one of the UK's top film events) for a very special summer edition.

We know you were excited to come to London in January 2021 for our red carpet and to pick up your awards. So, we have decided to offer you, our esteemed guests, a GMA Film Makers Network event completely FREE, as our gift to you.

Gold Movie Awards® in partnership with Protein Studios, Religion Clothing, Film Ahoy and PROM present, our brand new monthly networking soirée at the newly refurbished, state of the art, Protein Studios in the heart of London's trendy Shoreditch.

Join us for a break from the mid-week blues, as we sip mimosas and meet like-minded film makers with a passion for film and story-telling.

​

We will be offering you, our esteemed guests, a number of oppertunites all completely free. We believe it's important to get yourself out there, as well as your project.

1) A FREE, GMA Networking event for all 2020 "Official Semi Finalists"

(One free GMA FMN ticket per 2020/2021 official semi finalist submission. To secure free ticket email us on: event@goldmovieawards.com)

2) An opportunity to have your film distributed globally, completely free, to all 2020 "Official Semi Finalists". Not only that, but you keep 100% of any profits made from the distribution of your film.

On the night, we will be offering you the opportunity to have your film (Short, Feature or Doc) distributed globally by us at the GMA's, with our partners Film Ahoy and SMG. To submit your film for GMA distribution consideration, please click HERE and fill out the form. Only forms filled out correctly will be considered.

3) An opportunity to pitch your project to all attendees, giving you access to every department of film to ensure you build a team that will see your project to completion and distribution.

​

For example, “I am a writer/director looking for a producer to work with on my new script”, or “I am a DoP looking for new projects to work on”, etc.

10 filmmakers will be chosen to pitch their project to the room. To have your pitch be considered, please click HERE, and carefully complete the form. Only forms filled correctly will be considered.

​Want to meet indie filmmakers and film lovers in London? Maybe you're looking for a team to work on your next project. Or to volunteer your services for some set time. Or, just a chat about movies with someone who can tell the difference between Fight Club and Dallas Buyers Club? Whatever floats your boat, come to the GMA Filmmakers Network, a new monthly networking event for people who love and make films!

ALL guests will enjoy a Champagne/Prosecco reception on arrival (1 glass pp), drinks reception, fashion show, great prizes and give-aways, network with some of the industry's best professionals and a live performance.

Doors open at 5:00pm. The presentation starts at 8pm. Please arrive by 8 if you don’t want to miss it. We’re unable to let anyone in after 9:30pm. Cash bar inside.

A limited number of guests will receive a unique code with their ticket which allows the holder to submit their short film to us free of charge, to be submitted for competition at the 2021 Gold Movie Awards®. The winner will be chosen by YOU and the winning film will be screened at the 2021 Gold Movie Awards® and potentially be offered a global VOD distribution deal.

Each ticket holder will receive 20% off any submissions to the 2021 Gold Movie Awards®

While we all sat at home (most of us), the team at the GMA's, our judges and jurors, have been working hard to find and cultivate the very best in independent films and bring them to you. We are excited to bring you, globally recognised and respected film makers at the upcoming 5th annual Gold Movie Awards® 2020, August 18th and 19th 2021.

Join us for an evening of networking and celebration as we support the independent film industry and have a great time while doing so.
